How to make an embroidery into a pillow cover

This video will show how to turn your embroidery into a pillow cover using a very simple sewing method which can be done by hand or machine.

Beautiful video. I have embroidery panels that are ancient, and unraveling in centers. Would you recommend a fusible to iron on to back, to "lock" knots in place (once repaired) BEFORE making back into a pillow cover???? I want to preserve these pieces.

Yes, that could be a good solution, but it's just iron on really low heat so you don't damage the threads.

just curious why you don't add a seam allowance to your calculations? 14*14 pillow would be 15*15 if you sew a 1/2" seam allowance. or am I missing something?

I like my cushions to have a really full look, which is why I don't add seam allowance. Most pillow inserts are a bit underfilled and by not adding seam allowance it makes the cushion look fuller.
