This video is way too egocentric - if a relationship fails then both parties need to take full accountability for their actions that led to the breakup. If your ex reaches out you should at least have the class to listen to them. Feeding on revenge is for the immature and is a catalyst for misery

I kinda don't know where I sit exactly. You see I've been with my women for 14 years and married for 12. We are now going through divorce years leading up to the divorce she lost respect for me and would threaten me with divorce papers whenever we would argue. Even when she did something wrong she would still throw divorce at me. Finally about 4 months ago I left to stay at my grandmas. He's abusive and anger towards me finally made me leave. Still didn't divorce her. I still paid my half of bills and rent for the house she was staying at. After 2 months apart I finally realized that no matter what I still loved her and came back home. Only to find she started talking to someone from her job. I cried and begged because I wanted her back(now I know this wasn't the correct way to go about things) after talking and still offering to fight for our marriage she still didn't want nothing to do with me. I walked away this time and did no contact but I have to still talk to her on our house because we are selling it. I miss her deeply and do want her back but she feels we should go our own ways and now after going through the reflection stage I see how much better things are without her. No more toxic people in my lunge because she surrounded herself with people who tell her what to do and use her for her money. I always would get her out of debt when she was low on funds. Now it's not my problem no more. But deep down I do miss her

Time has a funny but sure way of healing EVERY wond both physical, emotional and mental. Time would lead you to where you'd not only know where you stand but offer you with all the realisation you need to see that it wasn't worth it. And from what you're saying, you deep down know she's toxic but why you still miss her is because she left you, it wasn't your idea to leave, so it's very normal to feel heartbroken when you're the dumpee, secondly, is Nostalgia, you're now valueing the relationship with her more than it actually was. To confirm this, sit yourself down and write out 10 things you loved about her and write out 10 things you hated most about her, and compare notes. Thirdly, you still miss her because of Trauma bond. You've gotten too used to psychological abuse and now you are addicted to the ups and down rollercoaster, normal doesn't feel too normal anymore. I can bet you 100% if you had caught her cheating, and she dumps you right then and there, you would still have wanted her back, even though you know she's not the right person. And to think that women are extremist by nature. Finally, the reason you still miss her is because you don't have anything really going on that you're excited about.
