I can see I did everything wrong in my last relationship. I would always respond to his texts within about 30 min. Sometimes he wouldn’t even apologize, he would act as if nothing had happened and I would not call him on it. My father used to leave and we wouldn’t see him for 18 to 36 months, he would show up and behave as if we were just talking yesterday and nothing had happened. @@nataliethomas9943 I didn’t lose them I just blocked them on social media. Found out he was inquiring about me at the class reunion (I didn’t go, cause I knew he’d be there). But some of our mutual friends told me he was saying some terrible things about me there (flying monkeys). So in order to keep my life private from him I blocked everyone except my family. Now if he inquires about me or lies to them about me he’ll look like a fool cause no one will have information about me to give him. It hurt to block them but they truly aren’t good long time friends if they believe him, not everyone will believe him but people can be two-faced, backstabbers. And he may not be doing as well as he pretends to be sweetie. My ex pretended too and found out he’s drinking heavily and has another addiction he lied about. The hardest thing I did was walking away, but he was very cruel to me and for my sanity and safety I had no choice.

Baby girls good for you listen and believe don’t go out and try to learn for yourself next thing you know 12 years past two babies and a pandemic down family life creek without a partner don’t regret my kids I’m grateful but regret who I chose as their father! I saw this quote that said “ my mom told me your kids don’t get to choose their father but you do get to choose who their father is so choose wisely!” Of course I saw this after my children’s births but what speaks volumes to me as someone who is too late to imply this good advice is not about their father and I but the pain I see their father inflict on them when he doesn’t come through the wound it reopens from my own childhood, and the worst feeling witnessing them experience it, seeing the cycle continue and feeling like it’s all your fault and should’ve known better and trying to handle a family on your own and your kids crying for him wanting him and you know it’s what they think they want but they don’t need cause it always ends up hurting them!!! I swear I’m the enemy in their eyes when I try and protect them from his actions and I’m pulling all his weight simultaneously! Nah I deleted him off my social media. It's private. I hope he finds whatever he's looking for. My life still is the same :) still leveling up in so many ways...he's not gonna watch me at all via social media. Negative. I'm not chasing him, he don't want to act right then there's the door. I'm a real cool down to earth girl and I told him ghosting isn't cool and he still does it. Like go find your dream woman & leave me alone. Simple.

Yep, on day 3 here. I did exactly the same, enough is enough. We were getting so close but he sabotages it by using words which are not appealing to me which hurt me at some points in the conversation. Even one comment a day can destroy your self esteem. Set my final boundary and also told him the truth.
