How to Break Fallout 4's Next Gen Update

In this video we build an Overpowered Early Build for Fallout 4 new next gen update on Survival Difficulty. Played on the most recent version of Fallout 4 with all DLC installed. No mods were installed during the playthrough and the build was played entirely on Survival Difficulty.

You can get a literal Fat Man right outside of Sanctuary in the base game. The game is as easy/difficult as you want it to be. You can impose restrictions on yourself. Well at least if that's not your first playthrough anyway...

All id add to the vip for peeps without dlc is the legendary rifle in vault 81 with 2 shot. Works great semi auto with scope, if you have the caps.

I was like, “Man I always do Melee or Sniper builds and never use power armor/heavy weapons, time for a change.” Only to find out, Tesla cannon is busted. 300 Damage per fusion cell? 15 rounds with a semi auto fire rate? Basically instant reload? It’s either I Mike Pence something into the afterlife in about 1-3 shots or I take myself out because I shot too close

Sometimes i want a challenge. Sometimes, i want to watch the world burn. I like that i have the option to do both. The only negative is that these quests are dumped on thr player at the start, unlike Skyrim AE, where the CC quests are in notes. With all the new players, thanks to the tv show, being pointed immediately towardscthis overpowered stuff.

Did you forget there's a Fusion core under Concord? Also CC gives you a homemade shotgun right off the bat. I changed the order but pretty much did that. For me the Next Gen Grenade launcher and Piggy bank Fatman were the priority. The incinerator I stuck on a wall. The same goes for the tesla cannon. I gave it to Sentinel. They're just not my style. The sonic cosmic cannon uses Fusion cells and IS my style. Add in the prototype gauss rifle and voila.

Love the new videos, Fevvy, and I'm happy that you've stuck it out, given how long between Bethesda game releases. I do have a question: back in the recent Gunslinger build, you acquire a whole bunch of levels by doing the shelf glitch in Sanctuary. Do you skip that entirely and just play this build "straight", avoiding cheesing the levels early on?

I really hope they do what they did with Skyrim and rebalance creation club content so you at least need to work for, or be at a certain level, to get all this high level gear. Before the anniversary update in Skyrim you could just walk for 5 minutes outside of Helgen and get upgraded Dragonscale armor. Seems like this quest needs a level requirement like they did with the Oblivion and Morrowind CC quests.

Ik your main videos are Skyrim but it would be definitely cool if we get more fallout 4 builds. Ik you made a sneak build but some type of combo build would be awesome. Like a sneak pistol (the deliverer) while being able to scout or snipe (with the problem solver gun from nuka world dlc) Basically a combo pistol/sniper op stealth build 😂 i tried making that sound simple. Idk the best guns still learning but I think you get the idea. Love your vids man keep up the good work❤ (basically why resort to only a pistol or only a sniper or some type of scout weapon when you can make it a combo build. A tactical stealth build)

Due to spreading your points wide, itll take time to make the build "complete" but i have a recomendation to make it more ideal. Go with the final perk of int (cant remember what its called) but at below 20%hp gain 40% bonus dmg to all dmg be it melee or sniper, dmg reduction and heal on kill. As this makes using a variety of weapons more feasible. And as a stealth build being at 20% hp wont be a bad thing. Pair it with any armor with unyielding (+3 all stats besides endurance).

So I followed this pretty closely with a few detours. My first run into the building for the Tesla Cannon ended with me dying as the elevator opened and I shot the enemy in front of me which caught me in the blast radius of the heavy incinerator. On my second attempt on the building I used a VATs critical to hit the guy on the roof with an impossible fireball shot thay sent him flying (body never found) and I was able to pick the gun up off the ground and run out of there. One of the modifications for the gun is chain lightning instead of explosions which is really good for tight spaces and getting enemies around corners. I had lots of one shot multi kills with it so far.

Alternative route for people who don't care about difficulty settings: > SPECIAL spread for Heavy Gunner/PA build > Clean up Red Rocket and set up Sanctuary. The usual stuff. > Go to the Disposal Grounds, retrive Fatman, Mininukes and Cores. > Head East to Dunwich Bores, and grab the Hazmat suit from the nerby hideout. > Go to Goodneighbor, Steal the mininuke and the other Fatman.. > Activate the "Three-way" quest, go do the quest. Lower the difficulty so you can blitz trought the small bunch of enemies you'll encounter > When the dude with the Tesla Cannon shows up, nuke him > Fast travel to Sanctuary, go past the bridge. You should get jumped by an Enclave patrol. Loot everything. > Start Echoes of the Past, go get your maxed out armor. Get the second Tesla and make it a beaton > Now you can have fun. Best course of action would be getting the Tesla T-60 for extra damage

the problem is that power armor doesn’t give any fire resistance when use fire weapons upon the enemy close to you, you injure yourself… how is Danse can take so many fire damage but not die…big disadvantage, and also later game power armor becomes more obsolete, because your regular armor isn’t equipped while in power Armor, so no legendary effects, also it dose not give you any more carry weight, and it actually decreases your carry weight which makes absolutely no sense at all… about protection, if you have ballistic wave mod plus heavy combat armor, plus some perk in endurance, plus some legendary effects such as sentinel armor, you actually get more damage resistance than in power armor… power armor is a big design fail….

Hey Fevvy, how about a build focusing on the new makeshift weapons? They're all really satisfying to use: personal favorites are the Nail Gun, Sawblade Launcher, and Baseball Launcher. The new Chinese Grenade Launcher is just sick in all the best ways. Cheers!

i did decided to start a new savegame with the next gen update and to get the X-02 mkIII Enclave armor compared to still rocking the T-45 is a huge difference ... even more when u know WHAT UR DOING and where to start and with a few mods that also increase spawns and all enemies (80%) are Legendaries but havent died once

Hey Fevvy, have you thought about a challenge like making builds using only a handful of perks and testing them against enemies lvl 100+? After the build is done you can inflate your lvl using a robot workbench glitch or something like that to see if the build still holds up.

The fact that the tesla cannon has an instant reload cause the devs dodnt bother to add a reload animation is crazy. Plus it uses fusion cells means youll always have ammo. Fucking busted weapon
