How to make any gauge work with any fuel level sending unit! Tanks Meter Match!

How to make any gauge work with any fuel level sending unit is what we will be discussing today! I have had a problem where my fuel gauge in my car is not reading correctly and I had no way of getting my gauge to actually read the correct fuel level. BUT with the tanks meter match I can make any gauge work with any sending unit! This is a fantastic device and saved my bootay! In this video I go over how to make it work and and wire it up and also calibrate it! But if you are having the problem where your gauge will not work with your sending unit this is definitely the answer!

hello, the instructions on the meter match instructions show some preset resistance but not the numbers my evo 8 send supposed to have which being 4 ohms full and 110 ohms empty what preset values do i use for 4 ohms full and 110 ohms empty? thanks

I’ve put off my fuel level sensor work for over a year now. I have holley digital dash and was going to attempt to splice into the wire that used to lead to the anti slosh module. I never thought it would work and I put it off too long

my sender is 0 ohm full and 200 ohm empty. If i set my low point to 240 ohm will it work?

I mean it will work but in theory it will be off by about a +/- 1/4 tank reading so you're car will actually be empty at 1/4 tank at the gauge. So I would drive it down to about 1/4 tank and then set the meter to show 1/4 tank is actually empty with the custom setting on the metermatch. I just had to adjust mine cause my car ran out of gas when the gauge showed half a tank lol so I just set the meter match to show empty at where it ran out of fuel. It is kind of a trial and error thing. Personally if you know your tank size I would fill it up half way adjust the meter match to represent that and then fill it up all the way and adjust the meter match to show full there. I noticed the preset ohms did not work well for me.
