This is wonderful! I always have to look up (thank you, Mr. Google - LOL) potion recipes EVERY time I want to make one. That's a real pain. This is so much easier and, of course, I will have to try this. Keep it up Mr. Avo and I'm liable to become a 'master Minecrafter'. Okay, maybe not since all my designs are YOURS, but I'll feel like it! As always, Sir, thank you for all you do for us to make Minecraft so much more fun!

First - as always, a fantastic tutorial and even a better base. QQ: Will this make a weakness potion? They don't start off as awkward potions so if awkward potions are 'auto-made'...?
@Avomance2 жыл бұрын
Yes and yes - you can manually take out the awkward potions rather than press the button and it will just deliver water bottles. THEN turn the page to the fermented spider eye and hit the button

If it automatically makes awkward potions, how do you get the splash weakness potions? Those are fermented spiders eyes in water with gunpowder, awkward potion is not needed.
@WanderingWolfe2 жыл бұрын
This is an issue with many auto brewers. One option is to lock the wart hopper, but that isn't always easy in tight redstone. Another is to remove one ingredient you don't think you'll use, such as rabbit's foot. Then shift everything toward it from the front. By doing this, you now make your first page "Mundane Potion" and will have to manually select the Wart, but it allows you to make weakness potions without a fuss.

Okay, so I have built this again in my new survival world but now I have a new problem. The redstone line coming out of the lecturn, as soon as I cut the last connection, the one piece of dust that is behind the dropper with the blaze powder in, goes off and then the system doesn't work... any advice?
@nozomi33702 жыл бұрын
when I press the button to start a new batch of potions only the first potion is taken by the hopper, then it keeps the other 2 potions in there so the netherwart is making 1 awkward potion, how to fix?
@an-maricronje302 жыл бұрын
As soon as I place my book on the lectern, random ingredients start going into the hoppers... I have built it a few times now and it does it every time
@Avomance2 жыл бұрын
Hi An-Mari - sounds like the torches underneath have had a burnout. Make sure all the redstone is cut off along the side (the line coming out the back of the lectern, THEN Dig into the long row of redstone torches and pop them all out, then replace them all. That should correct your problem
@shawnbascom75032 жыл бұрын
An-Mari, I had the same problem and if you're on Realms, I found it needs to be built in a north/south direction. No idea why, but that's the only thing that fixed it for me. Good luck.

I've built it twice following as closely as possible block by block and it doesn't seem to work. Anyone else having success? I don't know what I'm doing wrong, but a few of the ingredients I select (every other one) pulls in the ingredient after (i.e. glistening melon pulls in spider eye, puffer fish pulls in magma creme, golden carrot pulls in blaze powder, etc.). Half of the ingredients work, but it seems every other one pulls in the following one, if that makes sense. Any ideas?

@@jcofortco No, I’m on Java. I downloaded his world and it works but when I build it on my realms world it doesn’t work. I wish I understood redstone better and could figure out what’s going on. Maybe third times a charm.
@Avomance2 жыл бұрын
make sure you haven't missed one of the blocks that cut off the redstone lines from one level to another... also, if you did miss one, you could have burnt out your redstone torches that are in a long line... try replacing those?
@shawnbascom75032 жыл бұрын
Well, I’ve built and rebuilt this so many times and I can’t seem to get it to work. I even took a schematic from your world download and rebuilt it and I still have the same problems - which doesn’t make any sense at all I know. So I’m stumped.
