Perfection! Made these donuts. Only altered by adding a freshly diced sautéed apple to the mix. Only sugared the top of the donut with your mixture. (Which is awesome by the way!) Going to pass down your recipe to my children. Thanks so much! God Bless

I bend over the tip at the bottom and I set it in a cup so it stays upright 😁 Works great every time!

But to me, this just seems more like the classic spice cake.........because although they're doughnut shaped, they're baked. And I guess if they had cream cheese frosting on top, they'd be just that. Yum. Can these be squeezed into hot oil or lard and fried like a real doughnut? I'm sure they would still be cake like, similar to a cruller, which is delicious. But the oven baked ones don't give me that same 🤤 like, if I'm gonna have carbs and sugar, let's do it all the way😂

Don’t have a donut pan, but do have muffin & mini muffin pans. Will graciously pass on making the frosting. After 20 yrs of having to ‘Share w/the Parrots’, I have come to like most desserts without all the “extra goodies”…lol

I made these today,, they turned out great except they were a lot thicker with no holes in the middle, can't eat the holes anyway, Not sure how many this recipe is supposed to make, but I ended up with 12 very fat doughnuts.
