After watching a bunch of videos on how to make egusi I decided to try your method bc it seemed to be the simplest, for someone like me who’s never attempted egusi before.... it tasted so legit, I couldn’t believe it! So when I wanted to try making Buka stew, I knew I had to come to your channel to see if you’d made a video on it, and here we are. About to start preparing it now....

I followed this recipe to the T and it came out PERFECT! I’m originally from Ivory Coast but my childminder was Nigerian so I love Nigerian food! This is the authentic taste of her stew she used to make that I have been looking foooorrrr🎉🎉🎉💃🏾💃🏾💃🏾My husband even asked me to make it again the next day he went to get the missing ingredients to make sure 🤣❤️

@princessdorisianaleonard42105 жыл бұрын
Winnie dear. Thanks for sharing. My husband always like his tomatoes boiled or steamed Yea be4 frying it for stew. Is there really need for wasting gas like that? Because for all ur stew I have watched, u don't normally do such apart from a direct frying.
@ZeeliciousFoods5 жыл бұрын
Princess Dorisiana Leonard the reason many steam tomatoes is to dry out all of the liquid from the tomato purée. My solution to that is I chop up my tomatoes and peppers in very tiny bits so I don’t have to add so much water when blending. This way I can just fry directly without worrying about too much water.
