@Cali God Lovely video; Lovely people; Great instructions. Respectfully, are not most Mexicans the descendants of the Native Indian population whose ancestors were victimized by the Conquistadors from Spain? That being the case, naturally you would look like Indians, since basically that is what you are. LOL, this history teacher had to include a history lesson. It's who I am.🥰🥰😇

You guys are wonderful. So happy! I love your laughter & smiles.🌸 I made Navajo tacos for the first time a couple of weeks ago. I rolled them kinda thin, so they came out crispy...i wasn't sure how thick or thin to roll them. But they were good! I topped them with refried beans, lettuce, tomatoes, mild jalapeno slices, shredded cheese, & salsa verde. They were absolutely delicious. I appreciate everyone who has shared their recipes & I can't wait to make them again. Thank you!

Scott M Does she have a Instagram account? I have to see how a native and Asian mix look like haha.
@scotty23078 жыл бұрын
Haha. She looked mostly native to me. Maybe a bit more smooth skinned for her age. Maybe a bit of Japanese in the eyes. She favored her native side most, and was married to a native who worked for the roads department for a local tribe. She was very much the power, business woman executive type. He was very laid back, and casual. They were good neighbors, especially when it came to food. LOL
@angelaranda88998 жыл бұрын
Scott M lol, well its really new to me hearing of a native and japanese mix, because every native that I see that are mixed they are either mixed with white or mexican.

I'd wondered how it gets so round as mine are various shapes but I see that when it's thin and you're flipping it back and forth, you are also pulling on the edges and shaping it. I will practice this. Thank you! Also, have been working on my dough and wondering how they make it turn out so soft everytime and it seems that you are generous with the water. I have been shying away from too much water as I didn't think it should be as moist as it is when you are initially working on it. Very informative video. Much appreciated. Blessings.

frazzled pots75 Navajos love any kind of chile or hot spices. Green and red chile are by far favorite choice but we like it all. Close second are those hot yellow peppers that are a lil larger than jalapenos (3rd), serrano, anaheim, pickled small yellow peppers and hot chile powder. Oh yeah, Hot Picante sauce and Tobasco sauce.
