Hey bro I know this video is kinda old but two things that might help you get a more clear gel, use distilled water and use the strongest hydrogen peroxide you can get (hospital laundries use 99% pure hydrogen peroxide labeled as oxybleach)

Should the liquids be measured with the measuring cup and not a scale?

Melt the gelatin in warm water in small amount of water then pour it into the cold water and you hahv NO Clumps

Fastest and easiest is to use gallon jugs. Just cut the jug when ready to use.

How did the shooting tests end up for you big dawg? Did it function as expected, FBI standard? Did denim/layered protection testing work as intended? 🤙

@seand.3085, the tests went pretty well. I screwed up the recording so I'm going to have to redo them. The first one was too thick but the others were on par with the FBI standard.

Probably not a good idea to do this in the Wife's kitchen. You'll be hearing about it for the rest of your life!!! Kinda like curing Ceracote in the oven. Just set up an old gas stove for LP in your shed, garage or tent.

Where is the video of you shooting it 👀 good video tho, I would recommend editing it a bit more just through stirring it and boiling it you can hold viewers attention for longer (just my two cents)

Mix ingredients and pour into the lubed container. Gelatin dissolves better in hot water. I would use a large crab pot to make about 10 gallons. Make tapered molds with Cor Ply( the corrugated plastic they use for political signs. Carefully line with plastic wrap keeping the bottom and sides flat.

Ive wondered if a blast of compressed air would get the gel out of the mold. Snake the nozzle to the bottom and give it some air.
