Hi! This was an amazing tutorial and i followed everything and it went perfect. Though i have a slight issue. So when i finished making the barbed wire i started wrapping it around the object i made the wire for, though then i realized that the wire might be too thin for the object i was making so i scaled it and made it bigger, but now there is an extra part of the wire that isnt connected to the nurbs path and the reason for it is because i scaled it, but im not sure how to fix it without remaking the whole wire and wrapping it around the object again cause it took quite a bit of time. I know this is one of your slightly older videos but help would be greatly appreciated!! Edit: I just saw your latest video about barbed wire, i wish i saw it earlier 😭 Still, advice for the same problem would help a lot

I have a slight problem: when I add the second array & curve modifier, and set it to follow the curve I specify, it doesn't keep going on the actual curve like yours does. I'm using blender 2.91, but on Mac. Would that make a difference? Very new to blender so I apologize if this is a dumb question.
@JoeyCarlino3 жыл бұрын
Sounds like you might need to apply the scale. Should work the same on Mac.

7:28, how did you rotate everything on the x axis? I'm sorry I'm new to blender, and that part confused me.
@keto94233 жыл бұрын
I don`t know if it`s of any use now but you hit R key (rotate), then x,y or z depending on what axis you want to rotate the object around and then write down the number. So you`d hit R key then X key and then 9 and 0

I dont get it. On 5:20 you removed the face from the plane, but after that you can rotate the face of the plane in edit mode. how is this possible? I have the same blender, 2.91, and it doesn't work the same way, I can't close the faces properly, can't rotate it
@JoeyCarlino3 жыл бұрын
You can still select the edges. I'm not sure why it wouldn't work for you.

Hello nice one, I just purchased your product, I have one question.. can you replace a spline to follow this? learning blender...
@JoeyCarlino2 жыл бұрын
Yes, you can use a curve or a mesh. The only difference is the first few nodes. I'd it's a mesh you need the "mesh to curve" node, but if it's already a curve, then there's no need.
@JoeyCarlino2 жыл бұрын
Oh yeah, in the product, I believe there is a switch for if you want to use a curve. You don't have to go into the nodes, it'll be in the modifier panel
@taviux5112 жыл бұрын

If you edit the curve and hit n to open the side panel, you can rotate the curve to get the result you're asking about. It works with proportional editing too

Most of the problems so far are fixed by applying the scale, see if that helps.

@@JoeyCarlino I did that and it won't stick together. Like there's a curve and there's a barbed wire. I added the curve modifier and it still won't connect, it'll simply copy the shape of the curve.
