It is very soothing to watch your videos. Sometimes you may also try Asian holy basil in basil tea, which has more medicinal benefits. Pro tip- add some honey also.

I like putting basil in my homemade tomato sauces. My first guess using the leaves for a tea would be an overpowering taste just from eating a leaf fresh but maybe I will give it a try and see for myself how a basil tea tastes.

Nicely done. You are spot on that it has wonderful medicinal properties and health benefits. Your plant looks healthy but so small! I have raised several that are like small ornamental bushes! I now have more Holy Basil than I can use! I guess I will be drying it and having it throughout the New England winter. No offense is meant by this but, you sound so much like one of the kids that the rough kids in high school used to stuff into a gym locker! Oh well. Thanks for the video.

What are the ratios, like how much basil to what amount of water did you use?
@migolo1415 Жыл бұрын
A good starting point to follow when you don't know the exact measurements is one teaspoon of tea to one cup of water. Try that out, taste, and adjust the amount of tea per cup if it's too strong/weak
