Make sure that whatever you use to make this product with that you don’t use them for general cooking purposes. It’s best to add the citric acid right at the end just before moulding and sift the ingredients

Hi Natasha, thanks for stopping by. Yes some of these ingredients are not suitable for cooking, but some are. For example, the coconut oil I use, is a standard fractionated coconut oil that is suitable for general cooking purposes.

Great video but where are your bowl and dish from? Love them

Thanks Bev. They are a super pretty colour. They are from Chasseur. They are a bit pricey, but they last soooo long. Great quality :-)

Thank you for sharing your video. New subscriber from Finley, New South Wales, Australia 🇦🇺 I’d highly recommend that whenever is using Essential Oils or Blends in products absorbed by the skin to complete a basic aromatherapy course as 90% of the world can’t have certain Oils due to Being Pregnant & Breast feeding Mums, Newborns to children of 7yrs, Medical Problems & Medications such as Antidepressants, Warfarin, Heart + Blood Pressure Med plus the elderly. If your selling or gifting be sure to add a warning label for your customer You can also place cotton wool in a egg carton to sit your bombs on, that’s what I o.

Ooh that’s a fab idea. Just researching bath bombs now and have a few egg cartons spare and was wondering how I’d sit them out x x

I would warn against using hot oils in a bath. Also, this is a great recipe but I would suggest adding the essential oils to the carrier oil before adding to the other ingredients. You don't want any essential oils floating on the top of your bath water.

savillah then why don’t you make your own video? There’s always got to be one

There are plenty of good videos that include proper dispersants and directions for adding essential oils safely.

Shelly Pfluger hi Shelly, why can’t you use cornflour or cornstarch? Does your skin react to it?

Question!! My bath bombs are cracking. What did I do wrong?
@Ladydaadooskincare4 жыл бұрын
Khanittha Kanchanasopha I’ve had a few bath bombs crack and I’ve found it can mean the mix was too dry or it wasn’t pressed down firm enough on the mold.
@chrissys73324 жыл бұрын
That’s a lot of hand mixing. Save your arms and use a standing mixer
@Ladydaadooskincare4 жыл бұрын
hahaha yes a stand mixer is a lot easier, though I don't mind mixing this one by hand - less washing up lol :-)
