The 808 comes from a sample pack that a friend gave me. You are correct, this 808 is not included in Structure Free

yes, the best free studio would be Garageband which is only available on all apple products.

As long as you have an 808 patch loaded in structure free you should be fine. Is that happening on all the instrument channels ?
