HOW TO MAKE BEEF PATTY WITH PLANTAIN

I do not know anyone who doesn’t love jamaican beef patties! I put a lil twist on the classic and used plantains to make a beef patty and guess what? It tastes as good as it sounds! The classic jamaican beef patty is usually spicy, baked in an oven and often enjoyed with coco bread. This recipe is easy to make, and these beef patties make the perfect appetizer! Here are the ingredients:
-3 plantains (semi ripe)
-1 lb ground beef
-1 tsp all purpose seasoning
-1 tsp meat or cajun seasoning
-1 tsp old bay
-1 tsp onion powder
-1 tsp garlic powder
-4 oz mozzarella (shredded)
-4 oz gouda (shredded)
-3/4 cup of All purpose flour
-1/2 tsp baking powder
-1 tsp salt
-1/4 cup water
-2 cups of canola oil (or enough oil needed to deep fry)
You’ll need a small rolling pin and cling wrap to make this recipe!

I swear I brag to all my Jamaican friends about your cooking as if I know you.. I like Jamaican food but I’m a picky eater so certain meats I don’t normally eat from Jamaican cooks.. I’d rather cook it myself because I like real tender meat and I realize many Jamaicans prefer a less tender texture.. But your food ALWAYS looks good and appealing to me.. So when my Jamaican friends and coworkers (I’m a nurse also) say I just don’t like Jamaican food, I just show them your videos 🤣 and I say yes I do because I will eat what you prepared!! You never cease to amaze me, I swear we must have identical palates lol.. I’m sending this to my Jamaican husband now !!!
