You should use parboiled rice because it draws less moisture. If you use Jasmine rice you must be very careful of how much liquid is in the pot or else it will become soggy.

@@serenestorm4306 I’ll be honest I’m Haitian and therefore I barely measure and I don’t use parboiled rice for any dish what I would advise is the rice packages usually have the directions on how to cook the rice so I would start there
