I just take my iPad into the kitchen and with the aid of the pause button I follow along, it’s like having a sister show you along. I tasted the sauce just before I set the .35 minute mark, Mmmm. It's excellent oven roasted. Cut in half length wise, scoop out all seeds, put butter/salt/pepper on each half, wrap in foil, put on a baking sheet and bake in a 350 degree oven until fork tender. I start checking after 30 minutes, but it can take up to an hour or so, depending on the size of the squash. SO good! I also cook acorn squash this way. Sometimes I put sage on it, sometimes I make soup out of the squash.

I used to skip school junior high I go sit down under the bridge with this old black man on the Bayou and he taught me to eat sardines on crackers with hot sauce and I tell you what I thought he was crazy until I tasted it. He used to take the Sardine out of the can put it on the tracker and but a drop of hot sauce on it and hand it to me and from everything that I had learned from my dumb ass f***** up family I was scared.
