As a left handed sewist, I really do appreciate that you took the time to show us what we have to do differently to get the same result. Sew very clear and concise and simple, Laura! I particularly LOVE the part where you address sewing the strips together. I've always tried to get that 1/4" seam just right, but when you say to sew from one intersection to the opposite one. My struggle was getting the strips to align and I think I finally will be able to do it just right!! Thank you!

This is the best bias binding tutorial I have come across in the 3 years I've been looking on KZbin. I put off sewing for years because the first tutorial I followed was so tedious and cumbersome. It took me hours. In fact, that tutorial even mentioned not to do it this way. LOL. THANK YOU!!!!

Wonderful and clear tutorial. I need bias trim for a toddler dress and most of the tutorials on YT are for yards and yards of binding for quilts. I love that with your method, I can start with a smaller piece of fabric and not end up with so much excess. Thank you!

I have made binding before, just not bias binding. This is the best tutorial. My friend had me fold my square in half and in have again to make a triangle, and then cut the edge off. After I got all the pieces cut out, she could not remember how to put together. This tutorial was great! I will definitely have it up on the computer tomorrow when I put the tape together and next time I need to make bias tape. Thank you for a great video.

Thank you for a fantastic video on making bias binding from a rectangle. I usually make continuous binding from a square but this time I would have to cut two smaller squares resulting in short segments and many seams. This will work beautifully!

Hi, Laura-A BIG THANK YOU! I am making masks and I needed to make some bias tape as I was out. I struggled for 3-4 days, watching all different videos and could not figure out how to sew them together without them coming out uneven. I know you know what I am talking about. After watching your video a few times and your close up explanation on sewing “the intersections,” I got it!!! I have so much fabric, I am now going to hone my new skill and get a variety of bias tape made. Thank you over and over again! So excited!
