Today, I have a delightful treat in store for you - chewy and scrumptious homemade black sesame cookies. The best part? You can whip these up using ingredients you likely already have in your kitchen pantry!
🍪 Ingredients:
1 stick of butter at room temperature
1 cup of sugar
1 egg
A splash of vanilla extract
1 cup of black sesame powder
1 1/2 cups of all-purpose flour
1 tsp of salt
3/4 tsp of baking powder
1/4 tsp of baking soda
👩🍳 Directions:
1. Start by preheating your oven to 350°F (175°C).
2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the room-temperature butter, salt, baking powder, and baking soda.
3. Add in the egg and a splash of aromatic vanilla extract.
4. Incorporate the sugar into the mixture.
5. Gradually add the flour to create a wonderful cookie dough.
6. Introduce the star ingredient - black sesame powder - into the mix.
7. Take approximately a tablespoon of dough and shape it into a ball.
8. Place your cookie creations onto a baking sheet.
9. Bake your cookies at 350°F for approximately 20 minutes or until the edges turn a lovely golden brown.
