Hi guys,
Today's video is how to make Tapioca Pearl (Boba).
The method of kneading using boiling water is called ‘ikbankuk’,
It is often used when making dumplings skin.
When you knead it like this, the texture is much chewier than just using cold water.
Just knead and make it like a ball and boil it in water
Anyone can make it without failure.
Try it !!
(Bobo cannot be made without tapioca starch, and cannot be replaced with other starch. Tapioca starch can be purchased on the Internet or at a large supermarket)
▶ Materials (Approximately 4 drinks)
40 g of water
20g brown sugar
53 g of tapioca starch
7g cocoa powder
* Notes
1) Bobo boils and grows in size. If you make it too big from the beginning, it won't fit into the boba straw, so make it about the size of azuki beans.
2) When you boil, add enough water and boil the whole tapioca starch on the outside of the boba so that they do not stick together.
3) Cocoa powder was used because of its color. Can be replaced with the same amount of tapioca starch.
4) Brown sugar can be replaced with other types of sugar.
* Storage: Tapioca pearls can be stored at room temperature for up to a day while soaked in syrup. (Never refrigerate) The remaining pearls can be stored for a long time by putting them in a zipper bag with syrup and keeping them frozen.
