Both producers have a lot of bounce and that’s what they are known for. He’s simply showing u how to get bounce don’t be too critical
@ephbomb029 күн бұрын
"2 very different sounding producers" is hilarious considering they have basically the EXACT same drum patterns just different melodies, so how are they very different sounding when it just goes down to melody? every melody is different too. like the snare being on 3 & 7 everytime. and the kick patterns being basically the exact same. and they all do this technique and triplets alot for their hi hats. brotha i think your losing your mind.

Lot of people in the comments obviously don't know music. Metro and Timbo don't have to have the same sound comparison to use the same techniques.
@Redyfiboogie2 ай бұрын
Beat makers, please find and cultivate your own style. That's the problem right now. Everybody is trying to sound like everybody. Anything that's not growing is dying. The game doesn't need another Metro Boomin or Pharell.....for r e a l. 😂😂😂

Thats why modern music all sounds the same.

@mementomori63962 ай бұрын
Off beat = syncopation so basically 1 2 3 4 but you only can only hit 2 and 4 this creates room so it can actually bounce in that space. This works with everything not just drums but melodies too.

Metro Boomin sounds nothing like Timbaland lol

It‘s about rhythmic triplets which they both use extensively.
@bankrollace87372 ай бұрын
@StoneCut they beats still don't sound alike. Nobody sounds like Timbaland period.Metro Boomin makes simple trap beats.....

thats too hard for these new "producers" every basic function is now a "FL FEATURE" smh
@fmdasani2 ай бұрын
Yeah but you can only place them off by a 16th note or more. The nudge feature lets u nudge them by like a couple milliseconds for a more subtle nudge
@BouryeBlake2 ай бұрын
Man if you want to be an fl producer how about learn music theory/how music works and then figure out how to run the program efficiently. After that download plugins and packs and experiment with melodies/drums that YOU like
@BouryeBlake2 ай бұрын
No one cares how fast you can paint a simple melody/drum pattern, that doesnt make you a producer lol

There's 4 orange buttons right under the scroll on the screen right next to the little mix busses (A Reverb, B Delay, and Master). the button at the bottom has a lil D inside it. Just click on it and you'll see ms number slots you can move back and forth, and that affects your track's timing. don't know if you still need this but I hope I helped! lmk if you have any questions
