Any help you can provide for why in your 808 you have two notes layered on top of each other? Anytime I’ve tried that it just sounds like shit lol

The second 808 is purely acting as a texture. To prevent any clashing between the 2 808s, I have an EQ taking out everything but the high range frequencies on the second 808. hope this helps!
