Can I ask, I’m the final render at least in the viewport how did you achieve the blue glow/haze on lower levels? I’m trying to create a scene based on Coruscant and I’ve got the building and everything but I can’t seem to get the lighting right I just wanted to know what techniques you used to get this look and also is it in Eevee or Cycles?
@DwarvenDoesThings Жыл бұрын
In this video here he is using cycles HOWEVER!! for whatever reason I could not get my cycles to be as clear as his when rendering so I did mine in EEVEE and used a reflective plane and ended up with the exact same thing while following along, except the reflection of the building is clearer and easier to work with in EEVEE, also that blue glow/Haze is the reflection from the other buildings and such onto the road and other buildings in close proximity, just looks like haze because the render isn't as clean in cycles compared to EEVEE, if you want to know how to do a reflective road and such then go watch his other tutorial on wet concrete. As for how to get a fog effect I do not know yet, however if I find out I shall come back and edit this comment!!
@GeorgeKarala Жыл бұрын
Okay Building is cool but damn road light and fog makes 10x better

how did you select the top of the cube to add a roof? It's just an idea but it would be really awesome and helpful if you could install the plugin which display what keys and buttons you're pressing! Appreciate the tutorial!!
