Those leaders look great. Question, when you head to shrink the leader, do you use a heat gun or lighter, and does the heat damage the mono?

We use a heat gun and on the mono we are very careful to use as minimum heat as possible

Bought some off the website yesterday and they were delivered today!! Just in time for the weekend. Question: What knot do you recommend for tying the leaders to Braided main line?

I always use a uni knot wrapped 4 times

Go threw the swivel twice then tie your uni knot 5 times. I feel like 4 slips sometimes. I would even recommend 6 wraps

I’m in Nc and they use really short leaders,hook to weight.Then I seen yours and I’ve been using longer leaders too just to see if it helps detour the sharks . Wasn’t sure if there was info on it
