Thanks for the great video!! I gave up on my Presto Pot for the reason of loosing so much heat during the transfer. Also, I would fill it to the max, pour what I needed in my pour pot, and then fill the Presto Pot back up to start melting while I added fo and color to the pour pot...so basically I always had it full. I was still always waiting for it to melt what I added, and I had trouble keeping the heat consistent. Lastly I would keep the wax that I didn't use in the presto pot until the next time I made my wax melts. I wonder if I was causing myself problems by always refilling the pot to the top after each pour off and also remelting the wax that was left.

That’s my issue right now!! I don’t know why my heat is dropping tremendously. Did you figure out why?

I was wondering if it okay to leave a little wax in the presto pot and reheat it later? Thanks for all your help

Great video! Do you know if the Presto Pot works the same with beeswax? Considering it solidifies quicker than the soy/paraffin and therefore sticks to the pot making it a challenge to remove the excess.

What happens if you don’t use all the oil in the presto pot? Can it harden and be remelted? How many cycles of that can the wax take?

Hello..that's cool..am here in Africa. I see you have not used Stearic acid and that's what we have here not the oil you mixed with melted wax. What can we use?

Does it come with a spout? If not, how do you convert the PrestoPot (and yes I want this brand specifically)

My question is not on presto pots, I watched your video on palm wax and was wondering what happens if you go above the 3 percent fragrance load? Also is the fragrance load the same for tarts? Thanks

Great question. The wax can only “hold” so much. After a certain point the additional fragrance will weep or sweat out of the wax (if it manages to stir in in the first place) and make the candle look wet. It’s dangerous because FO is a lot easier to light on fire. The same is true for melts. An important thing to remember about hot throw is that a strong hot throw comes from finding the right balance, not adding more fragrance. Fragrance is the fuel, but the entire candle is the delivery system. More fuel doesn’t usually make throw better. Hope that helps!

Hi Kevin! A Fan of your videos!! Posting this query here as I didnt know on what video to ask sooo... I have a doubt about the botanicals catching fungus or mold in humid climates. What can be done to prevent this mold? Thanks! 😊

Hello Kajal! Honesty I'm really not sure what you mean by "botanicals" in this case. Would you mind elaborating?

Thank you for your helpful knowledge, but in the last video," how to make perfect wax melt,." You said to add 9% of fragrance, but you told ad 6,5% in this video. Can you explain the difference?

Why does my candle wax drop tremendously in temperature when I transfer it to another pour pot? I used a glass pot to transfer my wax to and it went from 190 to 150 IMMEDIATELY!! Should I use a wax pot pot? I have a presto pot but it’s not for wax 🤦🏾‍♀️ I think it’s for cooking. I thought I bought the right one but mine doesn’t have a sprout. I’m so confused!!!

The presto pot with a spout is a game changer. Makes using a the double boil method seem like a joke. You can melt down 2-4x the wax in like 20 minutes.

The wax pot that i found are quite unstable in a boiling water pot. I basically have to hold it all the while. Also, once i reach 170 degree, it take forever to raise further. I feel that it put me at a non insignificant burn risk. Hopefully a presto pot will feel (and be) safer.

Using boiling water feels like a joke after using an actual wax melter. Plus it's way faster, just don't crank the heat too high. I also love using a "confectionary dispenser funnel" for the wax rather than pouring it out of the pitcher@@oppressorable
