You’ve been my favorite candle teacher ever since your video telling us to start out by making 80 candles then give them away to friends. That taught us you were more interested in the craft and teaching us how to make them safely and well. That has to come before the sales. I think about that a lot. Thank you! I wish you successful !

You're freaking awesome for giving this away for free! Your principles could be applied to business in general, not just candles....and you delivered your teachings in a bite sized, comprehensive way with such care and access to resources. THANK YOU!

Yessss....besides YOU, there's only 2 other chandlers on KZbin that I trust 100% & they are Wade Thomas and Jeff Standley! I have learned so much from all 3 of you 😊 There's too many people on here giving a lot of crazy misinformation. I really appreciate the fact that you are so selfless that you share with the rest of us your hard earned knowledge 🥰 THANK YOU for creating this channel!

I have been following you since the beginning of my candle making journey. I remember watching and reading about the 84 candles early on and thinking there’s no way I will need that many. Over a 100 some later, and many months later I finally feel comfortable launching in a few months. Thank you for all that you do, but most importantly stressing the SAFETY of candles, and what needs to be on the label. I wish you (and me!!) all the success in the candle world 🥰

Thank you for this. I love candles and always wondered if i could make my own. It took years of thinking and never performing so now I am older and have begun. So I figure, i will have something to do in my retirement, LOL I went into candle making not knowing and ave made many of the mistakes you mentioned, now i have patience, discipine and focus. I have learned a lot and ready for my phase 2. So wish me well, I'm going in.

Oh my gosh yes!!!! I beat myself up when I didn't get the candle making right the first time! I make handcrafted soap, body butters, and bath bombs and I made the mistake thinking ..."oh I can put a wick in a jar and pour melted wax!" 🤣🤣 Now I am testing 2 different wicks with only 4 base "fragrances" I will offer...one day! 10 days curing (beeswax) still seems soooo long but worth it! Really appreciate all your videos!!! Thank you!! ~jc

I have to say this is one of the best videos I've watched. I literally have a candle graveyard in my back yard but I'm taking this slow and steady. Definitely giving myself a year to get my candles at their best... who knows it may be longer. I appreciate the advice!

Thanks so much for the videos! I’ve tried to make small businesses of my other hobbies in the past to no avail. I really need to make a success of this one (once I’ve started it) because my candle line will be in honor of my late baby sister. I want to tell her story through something she and I both loved: candles and self care. Because of this, I’m really trying to do my research so I can address my previous mistakes and even improve bad habits that end in untouched projects. This is hugely important to me so I’m extremely grateful for these videos and your insights! Hoping to start a beautiful new chapter of healing and sharing with this passion project!🙏🏾🥰

Hey. you have a wealth of knowledge in candle making and your tutorials are awesome. Do you make beeswax sachets/tablets ? I see a lot of tutorials out there that say one should use only essential oils for these. and that soy wax has the best cold throw. What wax gives a good cold throw? And what fragrance load should I go for? Would really appreciate it if you would help me out with this. I am a candle maker in Mumbai.

There have been times when my wax would go to like 230 on accident in the presto pot. Does that ruin the wax?
@ArmatageCandleCompany3 жыл бұрын
If it sits up there too long it'll scorch. How long? Not really sure. But if you see any discoloration on your cooled wax... that would be my suspect.
