Lawrys is a big staple seasoning in the African American families...Adobe & Sazon is a big staple seasoning in the Spanish families...however we African American uses Adobo & Sazon seasoning as well...I'm not sure if the Spanish families uses Lawrys seasoning(at least I know my Spanish friends/families uses it)...me personally being that I cook American Jamaican Spanish some African & Haitian dishes I use every nationality seasonings

I met them at the airport when they landed in Fort Lauderdale. What a pleasure it was. Unfortunately, I did not meet Sasha. I will most definitely be trying this recipe as I have all the good seasoning in my cabinet. 😋🇬🇩🇬🇩🇬🇩

Hey Sasha 🤗 I use Lawry’s for certain foods like Chicken or Fish when I’m frying them or on fried potatoes. Adobo is an all purpose seasoning for just about everything but it depends on what flavor it is. I mainly use the seasoning packets which is labeled SAZON.

Deddy is A BOSS in that kitchen. Actually, when I heard 'Run Down', my curiosity was was peaked. That dish sure looks puuuuuuuurdy. I was just shopping the ingredients and I don't know what Flori-duhhhh is on but at Walmart's, it's priced at $2.32 for 13;5 ounces. BTW, to answer your question about popular American seasonings, when Lawry's seasoning salt first came out back in the 70's, it was really good. Over the years, it became salty to me. I use Adobe if the recipe calls for it but I really can't tell what it adds to a dish. Thanks Deddy for another fabulous recipe.
