This was soooo good! Very thick and creamy! I used half & Half and an extra egg yolk instead of heavy whipping cream. I also use coffee extract because I didn't have vanilla. I think it would taste even better had I had vanilla. Also had a few lumps butt it was so creamy that you hardly notice them. I may use an immersion blender next time.

This is a really good recipe and easy to multiply. I have tons of raw milk and make it a gallon at a time. It came out incredibly good. Love the idea of mixing the dry portions first and the eggs. Use to put it in near the end with the vanilla and this way is much better.

This pudding recipe is the exact same method for French pastry crean😃, usually vanilla tho . Heat milk/cream and sugar till steaming. mix cornstarch egg yolks & remaining sugar in separate bowl. Temper in some hot milk/cream into egg yolks, whisk, add back to pot, stir over low-med heat till thick, always in an '8' pattern to get all corners. Take off heat. Add vanilla

You don't have to put it in the fridge for an hour. Just fill your kitchen sink with cold water and put the pot into it and stir for about 10 minutes. This will cool it down and prevent the milk from creating a skin on top.

This is a healthier and easier way to make choc pudding. Just blend in ur blender some coco powder, FROZEN avocado, (this is a substitute for cream)some maple syrup, and some milk together and it tastes awesome!
