When u take middle notes from the chords and put into new layer. Is new layer different type of synth or same one as chords just on another track? @D-Tunez

So what type of sounds do you use to make harmonies? Just the same as chords? Or more synths sounds?

9:30 ive seen some tutorials that tell you to move the lowest/highest notes to the opposite sides of the chord(bottom to up up to down) by how many spaces are between it and the nearest note(e.g a CEG chord would turn into an EGB or ACE chord), if those arent inversions what are they?

Me too, but I stepped away from scales as it is sometimes nice to go outside the scale (like at the end of the melody)

Bryan I know it’s been a while since u commented this but I think it’s best to know scales but not be scared to go outside of them, scales can be restricting and some of my favourite melodies I’ve made actually have notes outside of the scale.
