How to Make Christ Crown Flower or Eufhoria in Silk Stocking 🌺🌺

Today we are going to learn how to make a beautiful and wonderful flower crown of Christ in silk stocking for you to decorate your environment.

The crown of Christ flower (eufhoria) is a thorny shrub known for protecting hedges.
The Crown of Christ is originally from Madagascar and very widespread in Brazil.
Also known as: bridal mattress, bem-casados, crowns-of-thorns, etc…
Its flowers are small and always appear in pairs in reddish color.
A detail of this plant is that it is not so friendly, if it comes into contact with the skin it can cause burns, and the formation of vesicles and pustules. Contact with the oral mucosa or in the case of chewing and ingestion can cause salivation, nausea, vomiting and even diarrhea.
The meaning of the crown flower of Christ refers to power, redemption, courage, strength, spirituality, protection, faith, immortality, intelligence, reasoning, reason, sacrifice, example, eternal, purification.
These flowers are quite useful in some cases, but they can cause injuries, so there's nothing better than producing them in silk stockings, because we won't risk hurting anyone, lol. And we will still have a beautiful plant decorating our home.
➡️Materials:
- Silk stocking: green, red and light orange
- Modeling tubes: No. 2 and 5
- Scissors
- Pliers
- fine wire
- magic line
- Barbecue stick
- Yellow pistils
- Brown and green floral ribbon
- thick wire
➡️Step by step:
With the modeling tube nº 2, wrap the thin wire, twist the ends, leaving excess, and cut with the pliers and remove from the modeling tube.
Cover the ring with the red silk stocking, 1 or 2 times if you prefer.
Tie with the magic thread and cut off the excess silk sock.
Make petals for each flower.
With the barbecue stick wrap the thin wire and make 3 rings.
Top with the light orange half.
Tie with the magic thread and cut off the excess silk sock.
Make rings in the modeling tube nº 5 and cover with the green sock to make the leaves.
Stretch the leaves lengthwise.
➡️Assembly:
With the thickest wire cut a measure + or - with 12 cm, make a hook at the end with the pliers.
Join the pistils to the wire. (I placed 3 yellow pistils folded in half, tying with the magic thread.)
Then, join the smaller petals made on the toothpick, one by one, tying with the magic thread.
Finally, add the 2 largest red petals.
Finish off with floral tape.
Model the flower as shown in the video. ⬆️⬆️
Gather several flowers together, forming a branch.
Place leaves on the branch.
Finished our flower crown of Christ.
Make a beautiful arrangement with many little flowers crown of Christ.
With this red flower, it will draw a lot of attention from anyone who passes by.
