I tend to advise brides to choose a metallic accent and 1 maybe 2 colours so these are a really good idea Lisa, especially for short notice! I really like the hearts, simple and fun and very cute

I would love to see a video on how you package and label your products. Most of the other soapers use shrink wrap and since you aren’t a fan of wasted plastic I would like to see your alternative.

A lot of us use biodegradable shrink wrap so there isn't any wasted plastic.

Hey Becky. I have custom made greaseproof paper with my logo on, all of my soaps are wrapped in that, then a cardboard band. You are right I don't like to use plastic, it takes me ages to research and source appropriate packaging any time I have a new product, it's one of the hardest parts

You frequently mention other soaper’s that you get ideas from and I was wondering if you have seen Holly’s Soapmaking from Kapia Mera? She just posted a video for Spin Swirl soap making and she uses a weak indigo infusion to make the prettiest pink color for the soap. It made me think of your comment about how you make soap for baby showers and how the weak indigo would be perfect color for a baby shower.

Those are really nice! I could see them being good for a boutique hotel or bed & breakfast, too. When you do the bespoke ones, do you have to send it off for assessment? Or do you give them a list of color options you can make based on your previous assessments?

Hi Andi, it varies for assessment. Typically I give them a selection of colours and fragrances that fit in with my flexi cold process assessments, so I can change things up a bit with those. If they want a large quantity and something very specific (rare) then I do a new assessment.

I think I might be a slight germaphobe. I HAVE to wrap my soap in shrink wrap. I see other soapers that just use bands and that's fine, but I'd never buy them soaps. It's the fact that how many hands have touched that soap and then you take it home and use it on your body. I know it all in my head, but I just can't.

These will mostly be made for an individual customer, so there won't be a lot of different people handling them. When they go to shows, they will be wrapped in something.
