I think this is a great way to use the fragrance oils that accelerate and doesn't allow fine designes. This way the base soap can be one-coloured but the top is still beautiful and interesting

It could be fun to do a hidden design using this technique, as you use the soap it's revealed :)

@@ljc675 and @pauletteplatt5109 How about sand and earthy colours - yellows and browns… or perhaps grey…. And when you remove the top and bottom dipped layers you get the same colour way… but embedded in the ‘earth’… a dinosaur fossil…. One of several… you take your chance at which you will uncover 🥰 Clean archaeology for all!

@@IDreamInSoap Apologies, Jennifer's channel is the soap artist. Lovely girl. I didn't know you didn't know her, I sort of thought we both subbed basically the same soap channels however I have been wrong. 😳😂. But now that I know this, there is one Texan man who can greatly benefit from your guidance, he calls himself the orgelmeister. I don't know why. I have sent him to you before because he's battling a bit. He instead found Katie from Royalty soaps, also a lovely girl but you surpass everyone when it comes to technicality, so although he's getting much help, the technical side of pouring to get a design has not reached him. And let me be clear I'm the last person to speak, I have never so much as bought mica, I just relax watching. Anyway there's some channels for you ❤️

Its a really interesting technique, and I enjoy watching you work through the process. I do have to say though that I prefer a design that goes all the way through. I can see this being a really awesome way to have a "secret soap" design in the middle that's revealed over time with use. It could be a really involved way of saying "will you marry me?"
@IDreamInSoap7 ай бұрын
Yes, I completely agree with you about 'all the way through - ooh wouldn't the Marry Me thing be fun

This is amazingly beautiful. I was thinking the same as you when you first were talking about the technique. But after you started dipping and the results were awesome, I now love that technique and will likely try it. I will do a very slightly lighter weight bar to account for the extra weight of the dip. You picked such wonderful colors for your bars. Love them! Cheers 👍🤗
