Moru and nattu sakarai not compulsory. If you have any waste moru ( pulicha) you can mix it . No measurements required. Compost will be ready between 30days to 45 days based on what waste you have put inside. Waste with more fiber takes more days sometimes upto 60days.

Between 25 to 30days all waste will be almost deconposed and ready and all liquid generated will be stopped . During this time you can transfer to dry setup sothat if any worms present wI'll die and compost will be ready in powder form between 40days.

Try to avoid cooked food waste. Also compost should not be too much wet. If possible add dry leaves.
