My Mom used to make us fresh tortillas several times a week, Id smear refried beans and top it with cheese while they were still pipping hot. Thank you for this video, it brought back wonderful memories.

I’ve tried to make tortillas in the past and was not successful as I would have liked. Today as I was cooking dinner I realized o didn’t have any tortillas. But I had Masa. I followed your instructions exactly and I was actually successful in making tortillas today. 🎉 Thank you!!

In the 15 years of having YT, I rarely leave any comments however I truly need to thank you!! Thanks to watching your video after the 1st try I made flan better than my mom and pretty much ALL the store brands!! And I do know that tortillas are fairly easy however I watched a random older lady’s KZbin and she did NOT explain the “push down- no cracks” tip like you. Something told me to check with you since I already watched your videos. And I would have lost 30 mins “resting” as she instructed only to find I have dry tortillas. (All that was avoided by looking you up 🙏🏾) I can’t thank you enough for sharing your cooking wisdom with the world! You truly have a heart of gold! 🩷

I just finished making 30 of these today! Whew! Some puffed and some didn’t, but there was enough moisture that they didn’t crack! Your instructions were helpful! thank you! These will go with your Taco Al Pastor recipe! The marinade for Al Pastor is amazing! :) I’m using your cookbook! Love it!
