I made this for my Jamaican BF for the first time this morning. OMG!!!, it was so delicious!!! I was worried about the salt & bay leaves but everything came together, better than expected. Unfortunately, I’ll be responsible for making it from here on out. 🤷🏽‍♀️😃😉 Thank you for the recipe and great instructions.

When making, was the two cups of water added into the cornmeal out of the five cups used for the whole recipe ? or do I still use a full 5 cups of water for to boil?
