Yes! Make this recipe, it's so good. I also pickled some and still have more on the plants. Such good producers. Have a great day.

I made a batch last year! They were so hot, I couldn't eat them, I had to throw away the full batch 😔 Not sure what happened to those jalapeños but they were HOT 🔥 You're making me want to try again, unfortunately, I only got 1 lonely jalapeños lol

It does have heat. And only a lottle is needed. I wonder if you could have cut the heat by mixing it with something 🤔 you should have pickled that jalapeño 😅

Do you think it would turn out the same if you tossed the jalapenos into a food processor? I grew 5 kinds of hot peppers this year; all in the same heat range as jalapenos, and am thinking of mixing them to make cowboy candy. Different colours to make it more interesting.

Hello! Yes, you can use any type of pepper. Sometimes, people will do a combination of bell and jalapeños in an effort to keep the heat down. I used red and green peppers and didn't love the colour it turned out. I was really hoping they would have shown the red and green for xmas gifts. I wonder if it would have been better colour wise with white vinegar 🤔 I am interested in hearing how yours turn out!

What are you talking about you're not going to be spooning this into your mouth eating a whole jar at a time? Lol A month ago I bought 1 jar for the first time ever and my husband literally kept eating it until our son had to hide the jar. Lol I have been wanting to make a batch but I might have to make a couple batches! 😂❤

Omg, that's funny. I only made 10 jars this round.... last year, people were asking if I had more. I used up my last jar from last year's batch back in June ☹️ so I better make another batch, lol. I'm thinking about having a small farm stand at the end of our driveway. How much did you pay for the jar and what size it was. Thank you 🙂

@@GardeningintheNorth My sister keeps telling me to have a farmstand too! I paid $6.00 for about a pint sized jar at Whitefeather Farm. We had never had Cowboy candy before. It was in sliced rings not diced like yours is. Delicious.

It was between a pint and half pint. It wasn't a mason jar.
