Previously my tilgud would be soft and it would never taste like the ladoo we get in india. Tried your recipe today with the suggested kolhapuri gud. Got to say it was nice and crunchy and tasted exactly like my mom used to make. Thank you ! Btw I have also tried your ladi pav( my favorite recipe of yours😊) and took inspiration from your other videos about meal prep and freezing meals. It was very handy for my family to have frozen meals when I went to india alone recently.

You are most welcome! That’s my go to tilgul recipe and it never fails me! Prepping in bulk and freezing in portions has made my life so much easier.. glad it helped you as well.

Adding coconut and cashew and peanuts was new to me , will try this way soon 😍, and the reason behind adding ghee to the syrup was solid Thanks for sharing your version Deepti ji😊 Happy Makar Sankranti in Advance.

Try Laxmi desi jaggery. It’s pretty sticky. It comes in a red plastic container with yellow lid. You can directly scoop out from the container, no need to break or chop 😊
