I wanted to try this, so I typed up the recipe, and thought it would be nice to share. I didn't change the amounts of anything, so this should serve 2 Curry sauce: 200g onion, finely diced 1/2 celery sick, finely diced 100g apple (quarter of a large apple), peeled and grated 20g beef tallow (or butter, I never see tallow or other animal fats in any shops where I live) 1 tsp grated ginger 1 tsp grated garlic 1tbsp curry powder 600 ml water 1 small(ish) potato, cubed 2 cubes curry sauce mix (at 2:14 it looks like they are using House Vermount medium hot) Caramelize onion with a pinch of salt Add garlic, ginger, and apple, and evaporate the water Add curry powder, mix on low heat Add water and potatos, skim off gunk, and let boil for 15 minutes Turn off heat, add 2 block of curry sauce mix, stir in until melted. Leave covered. Fried pork: 2 slices Pork loin Breadcrumbs 1 egg 2 tbsp water 4tbsp cake flour Stab pork with a fork all over. Season with salt and pepper on both sides Mix egg and water in a bowl. Add flour and mix Cover pork in the batter, and then breadcrumbs Fry pork individually in 170°C oil for 5 minutes, flipping occasionally. Remove excess breadcrumbs, and leave pork to cool on a drying rack Slice the pork, and serve on top of a plate of rice and curry sauce

i love this dish and already make it at home! but how cool to see the extra steps and different way you make yours. For instance, mixing the egg wash and flour together. I would have egg wash, flower and panko all separate. i'm going to try your method next time! Also, when making my curry, its very basic. I only add onion, potatoes and chicken to mine, and just follow the instructions on the box so i just break apart the curry block and drop it into the water and veggies and chicken. thank you for your videos! they are so calming and relaxing and informative. My best friend lives in Osaka and before moving there, lived in the US and we were roomates and he introduced me to numerous Japanese cuisine and I"m so thankful he did! Anyways, thank you again. ありがとうございます
