Nick!!! Awesome video. I thought I knew how to use Illustrator but apparently there’s some tricks that I don’t know lol how did you round the edges of your shapes so easily? Especially when you did the O, it looked like you rounded all the edges including the negative space at the same time. Thanks!

Hey Sam. Thanks for checking this out. The rounded corners is an awesome feature. If you have CC 2017 (I think) and above, the option to round the corners comes up automatically if you select a corner with the direct selection tool. If you are using a shape that has multiple corners, you can select them all and the handle for rounded corners will pop up on all of them at once, then you can drag all of the handles to make the curves you want.

That's a really good question and I'm sorry I don't have a great answer! I do know that Fontself let's you add special characters but not sure if they will let you do a full non-english script!

Hi, try use Character Map in Windows (search >Character Map).... copy the symbol then paste fonself

I was curious though, if fonts are created in FontSelf, can they be exported to be used in MS Ofice (word, power point etc.) or is only used in Illustrator? I did try to Google this, but couldn't find an answer.

They can be installed on your computer like any other font and used in all programs

you can use the batch function for extra characters. As long as you can type the character you are adding into the batch box, it should work

@@nickqtv I think it can be but Unfortunately the fontself template for letter grids is made for latin; so i dont know if i can design my arabic alphabet on it or not !
