I know you mentioned changing gloves between tubs, but you did go into your CVG bucket multiple times with the gloves you already touched the spawn with. So, in this case it probably wouldn't matter. I'll be honest, I got a little anxious when I saw that. lol

I always over hydrate my sub and squeeze it out. It's dry AF where I'm at so making sure it's not dry saves a lot of headache with having to mist and etc. Every time I try to get the moisture exact I end up with dry sub. 😅

Thanks Ed, great stuff as always. Have you had any luck using some kind of dry weight vs wet weight % when doing sub? I've done it a couple times with success, but I suspect I might have just gotten lucky. Mush appreciation for all you give to this community.

I do it by eye now. Many errors in the past have taught me. Every batch of coir and vermiculite is slightly different.

Nope. As long as your spawn is clean and your sub is clean, it'll be fine.

Thanks for watching. I need to make another video about the tents. I use incontinence pads for humidity. Just put them on the shelves and saturate them with clean water. No holes. No electronics. Just straight from the box tent and soaked incontinence pads. Works brilliantly. Toss the pads dirty. Cheap.

They are just PP5 food bags that they use locally. Cheap as dirt. Eveything in Thailand comes in a bag...

Glove changes are personal choice. They just get sweaty or ripped sometimes. I try to prevent cross-contamination, but if the spawn is clean, it's usually not a problem.

Spores don't form on blobs. The best you would get from a swab would be a tissue clone. My other swabs are available at: sporeswaps.com/vendors/dr-eds-spore-shop/
