How to Make Delicious Home Style Egg Tarts | Tasty Treats for All Ages🥧

Hello ! I’m back 💕
Today I’ll show you how to make delicious homemade egg tarts! A perfectly crisp and golden pastry crust, filled with a creamy, slightly jiggly egg custard. These home style egg tarts are the perfect cozy treat for any occasion. Let’s bake together and create something amazing! 💕
Ingredients
( can make : around 12-13 pieces )
🥧For the pastry
- the Butter block ( modified )
•2 sticks (227 grams) Butter / unsalted, chilled
•150 grams All purpose flour
- the Flour dough
•210 grams All purpose flour
•30 grams Corn starch
•1 Egg yolk
•1/2 teaspoon Salt
•80 grams Ice cold water
•80 grams Cold milk
- All purpose flour for rolling
🥧For the filling( Modified version )
-90 grams Sugar
-90 grams Water
-2 Eggs
-2 Egg yolks
-1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
-100 grams Milk
⭑⭑⭑⭑⭑⭑⭑⭑⭑⭑⭑⭑⭑⭑⭑⭑⭑⭑⭑⭑⭑⭑⭑⭑⭑⭑
Preheat oven : 400F / 204C
💕Baking time around 30-40 minutes ( ***400F for 15 minutes and then ***decrease to 350F / 176C for 15-20 minutes or until the pastry crust is crisp and light golden brown, and the egg filling is firm but still slightly jiggly.
Tips :
💕Prepare the pastry ahead of time and it can be kept in fridge for a few weeks or in freezer for a few months
💕cool down 2-3 minutes on rack before serving, or keep in airtight container, it’s good for a few days in the fridge. - On the other days I like to reheat in the air fryer 350F for 5-10minutes before enjoy 😉
