In 50-years, I've never found any rocks in any of my dried beans. So far as odd-looking beans or split beans, I challenge you to find them when the cooking is complete. Bet you haven't either. That's just CYA on the producer's part. Very informative video though, thumbs up, I learned a bit.

Hi cris I love your cooking show it helps me a lot I was just wondering why u did not say how much water to use in the beans while it cooks and how long do u soak them for if u do.
@aprillovesgolf70422 жыл бұрын
I soaked and rinsed my beans for 24 hours, then cooked them 2.5 hours. As far as water goes, I was taught 2” of water above the beans. I’ve had to add water averaging about 3-3.5 cups of water a bag of beans. Yum, yum. Enjoy. I enjoyed this video. My health regimen prohibits me from the sugar or breads, but boy with some mustard greens and carrots and onions, I’m a pinto bean freak. Yummy.
