You want my Feedback ? Ok. YOU'RE A GOAT ! I've never seen such a simple and clear tutorial, not only for this video but also for the others. You're a monster no joke dude ! If you can do a video about wall jumping, that would be perfect.

Good job man, quite quick to follow for my new understanding but a nice simple method for a clear outcome. I appreciate it.

i have subscribed you and like you but i have a question that if i go to my player and add anim montage and then add destroy component and geometry component will it work if yes really thanks but if not pleases make a video on it i subscribed you if not please make 2 min or less video on it
@UnrealAxis9 ай бұрын
This video is limited to static mesh based objects, geometry collections seem to require static meshes for fractures, a combination of anime montage disappearing and static mesh based geometry collection appearing and fracturing might make it seem like an animated object is being destroyed (to some extent) but probably won't give the best look. There are probably much better ways for destroying animated objects, good luck!

In the part where the static mesh is replaced by the collection in the actor, my collection mesh just rolls over instead of exploding.
@UnrealAxis17 күн бұрын
@@freemanagamestudio if your mesh is different from the one shown in video try increasing the force or impulse that is applied, or just watch the video again slowly maybe, good luck!
@freemanagamestudio17 күн бұрын
@@UnrealAxis This just causes the mesh to fly off at top speed, it still doesnt explode - but stays as a single mesh. I'm really not sure what I'm missing. The collections do break up if the player character runs into them. But the logic in the actor to make them explode as an event isnt working.
@UnrealAxis17 күн бұрын
@@freemanagamestudio you might need to adjust the location of the impulse to make sure it is inside the mesh, or also change some settings in the geometry collection details related to how sensitive the collection is, sometimes ChatGPT can help find and solve the problems too, good luck!
