@artmadewithsoul If you have a Joann fabrics that you have access too, they carry the super soft spandex that squishmallows are made of, it is in the plush section and it is rebranded under "pure plush". Also for the stuffing use poly fill down fluff alternative, its the closest to the real stuffing.

if you want the tail to look exactly like a real squishmallow the tail is not a seperate piece but made of the 2 or 3 back and bottom panels depending on what squishmallow you look at for most its just a little protrusion or growth from the bottom panel and covered by the top 2.
@artmadewithsoul2 жыл бұрын
Good to know! When I was making these, I was basing them off of ones we own and didn't have a reference for a tail! I didn't know it was like this! The closest one we had was a rocket, but it has a wing and not a tail and that's how it was assembled! Thanks for the comment!

Hi Madison, I haven't heard of anyone else having this problem... Hopes this helps and let me know if you have any other problems! :) -Soul

Where are the eyes on a standard squish in relation to the 8.75" line on the pattern? EX: 3" from the top of the line and 2" left/ right horizontally for each eye.
@artmadewithsoul2 жыл бұрын
From the top of the pattern it's 4.25" down and it's 1.3" left/right of the 8.75" line. These are measurements to the center of the eyes. What I did to get the exact distance on the eyes is I took a piece of paper and placed it over a real squishmallows face and then taking a pencil I rubbed it over the paper. (Kinda like making a pencil leaf rubbing.) Then I took that rubbing and cut out the circles for the eyes and mouth and placed it onto my fabric at that 4.25" height. Hope that helps and happy crafting!
