We will have to shoot a video on making these! They start as discs and you hammer outward in a radial pattern. :)

Janette mentioned mylar in the back of a gemstone setting To make it more sparkly, and I am baffled. I have searched everywhere for that information. Can you please elaborate on that? Thanks. @@ritakrill1714 To reflect light back up through the stone we place either highly polished fine silver or mylar at the bottom of the setting. This is an ancient technique, Cellini wrote about it in his treatises. Of course, they didn't have mylar but used metal foils but the principle is identical. :)
