I fixed some apple pies a few weeks ago and they were good. Tried cherry next time and they just didn't do it for me like apple. I aim to make some more apple pies today using some of the tips from this video. I've seen several biscuit apple pie recipes on YT and I like this one best. Put it in my "recipes" folder.

There was a fried pie turnover sold at most barbeque places in Salusbury NC and they were sold as far west as Waynesboro NC soft crust . Be careful they might break open after unwrapping . They were titled as fried pies . I dont know they seem. Bake to me. I never saw them sold at stores in a box . Usually at the cash register at convient stores and and barbecue resturants

The next time you run into one take note if the brand name and post it here on this comment even if years from now. @@tennesseebuckoutdoors4778 up here in Yankee land they got a thing called Bean Pie mostly sold in Prince George County Maryland at soul food places it's similar to pecan pie but instead of pecans it beans. They sale a 5 inch pie ( traditional pie form) for one dollar ! You get twice the pie for a dollar as those little 3 inch pies normally sold, pecan or coconut

How about starting out knowing what you need and having everything to hand? Also, not to knock a dude who thinks they can cook and not be Gordon Ramsey but you handled that dough at least 3 times unnecessarily. It makes the final result tough, not flaky, and really dry. If these work for you, have at it. I can't cook like this.

Would you believe I have people tell me they done Apple Butter, Blackberry, Apricot, and Pepperioni with cream cheese. I even did sausage gravy and hash browns. Let me know what else you make. Thanks for asking and watching.
