Use up your fabric stash to make cute bunting with fabric! This is a beginner-friendly sewing project without difficult cutting or angles to sew. you don't need lots of fancy tools to make this either, just a trusty sewing machine and a few supplies and you can make fabric bunting to decorate in an afternoon!
Make this fabric bunting yours and customize to your style or with holiday or seasonal fabric. Use up fabric scraps like left over binding strips and cut some 5 inch squares to turn into a pretty pennant garland!
You will need:
- Sewing machine
- A universal foot or a patchwork foot like I did in the video.
- 5-inch pre-cut fabric squares
- Your favorite thread (I’m using cotton)
- 2.5 inch wide long fabric strips
- Scissors and thread snips
- Cutting board and rotary cutter
- iron and ironing board
