Hi, Loved the recipe however I got one question. Most of the recipes reduce the aquafaba to half and store it in tge fridge for 12hrs but you didn't do it so I was wondering if it really works.

Hey!! I love all the recipes that you have put up and also the way you explain soo beautifully and in detail I tried the recipe for eggless macarons, the mixture looked really good in terms of the consistency. I baked these for 8 mins and then slightly opened the door for 8 mins initially macarons had feet but it deflated in those 8 mins of resting. Can you please suggest me where could I have gone wrong or what can be the reason for the same. Also my OTG has these 2 settings 1 is the bake mode where only the lower heating element is functional and the fan operates and the other one is the convection mode where in both the elements heat up and the fan is also operational, my question is that on which setting should I bake these ?

Hi Suhana, I really really hope you enjoy making these! 🥰 Ideally you would need gel based colours as they're thicker. But you can still add the liquid colour, just make sure you don't add more than 1/2 teaspoon as that will dilute the consistency of your meringue. Actually it's always best to use a digital scale when baking but especially when making macarons because they're super finicky, even 1 or 2 grams more or less can vastly affect how the final product looks! Hi Manasi! Thank you so much for your lovely comment! I haven't tried making it on the stove yet as macarons tend to be super heat sensitive so temperatures need to be pretty much accurate. I used tinned aquafaba and was able to reach the foamy stage but after adding sugar (I did it in small batches) the aquafaba started turning runny and I wasn’t able to reach the soft peaks stage 😭 please help me. This was my 8th attempt 😣

Hello Samina, thank you for this recipe. I tried this but I saw instead of them getting the feet, the batter spilled out from the shell. The shells were formed but each of them had some batter oozing out. However the shell tops are crisp and as per the desired texture. Can you please tell me what would have gone wrong that the batter oozed out from the shells keeping the tops intact? Thanks .....

Hi Swati, so sorry I missed the message! You can use fresh cream 25% fat. I wouldn't recommend non dairy cream as it is already sweetened. If you wish, you could skip cream completely and replace with milk. I've mentioned this in the notes in the description box, I hope that helps!
