It's real ... As you read ingredients on Eno it's same but they are written in Sanskrit in English font to confuse... But here prior to mixing citric acid could be grinded which will give more accurate result as sometime it taste to sour as the powder contain chunks

V interesting what is the difference between fruit salts n eno..is it that fruit salts are extracted from fruits?

Thank you Maria ji. Eno is a fruit salt which is composed of basically 60% baking soda and 40% citric acid. So if you have these on hand, then you can use this proportion to substitute for ENO. If citric acid is not available, you can use some other souring agent instead along with Baking soda. Fruit salt or fruit salts is a term for effervescent compounds made up of organic acids such as citric acid or tartaric acid and salts such as sodium bicarbonate, sodium carbonate, or sodium bitartrate in combination with added flavoring and sugar. Hope that helps :)

Thanks for the comment Rafiq ji. The Rock Salt that we've used here is commonly called Sendha Namak or Rock Salt in English. You may use Ordinary salt as well. Using Black Salt may add a pungent odour to the powder which wouldn't be recommended. Yes, you may choose to use Himalayan salt. Hope that helps :)
