I met 2 boys who showed me a secret spot at a river where theres flowers and endless grass with sheep and ponds with baby frogs and even though we didn't speak the same language, I just had one of the best days in a few months. I've been keeping an almost daily diary for 6 years where I write down everything. I use it to vent about things that make me sad or frustrate me to get it out, but also all positive achievements. My advice is to mark the positive days with a colorful sticker or draw a star where you f. e. went on a walk and saw a cool bird or baked a cake. That way you don't just write down negative things all the time but see the positive days as an achievement and go out of your comfort zone just so you can write that entry that you'll look back on. Now I do things like swim in a cold lake at night wich is very very unpleasant because it's so cold BUT you look back and thing I did it, and when it rained after I was like "this is gonna make a sick entry" and walked in the rain for 2 hours back home lol. It makes you do things that you normally wouldn't. Here are some examples and I live in a city with no friends: You can go to Burger King at 1am and skateboard back home (I can't eben drive in a straight line but it's dark so who cares), you can go to a forest to collect mushrooms, build a forest hut from branches, take a bus to a random field and just watch the bugs, pick a flower bouquet for yourself, sit under a bridge and listen to the spring, play cards with yourself (solitaire), learn to craft stuff like origami or crochet, make little clay figures of your pets, paint your furniture, bake a birthday cake for your pet and eat it yourself, sneak into a movie theater, go to a local concert, talk to strangers on the bus like tell them that their dogs ears look goofy and both have a laugh, set off fireworks in the middle of nowhere, go to a playground at night and go on a swing, get drunk and have a concert at home, do things you would normally do at home in your bed like reading a book but do it outside on a tree or something. The list goes on. Don't let your location or stage in life or mental state define how you can enjoy life. Yes others might be able to do more fun stuff, but they don't appreciate it as much as you do. If there was an amazing red sunset every night, you wouldn't be as amazed as when it only happens twice a year. It will get better and life is just starting for you.

This made me realize that I'm not living for my days, I'm just living for my next weekend, my next break, but weekends are almost entirely homework and even when i am taking break the reality of school coming back still hangs over my head and homework never stops coming (i go to an extremely academically rigorous school). I'll have objectively good days where I'll have a good time with my peers and be in the beautiful outdoors but I'll only realize later. I never want to get out of bed in the morning, i never want to go to school even if being there is pretty good. I don't have the time to do these experiences, yet I don't have time for anything, including KZbin, which I'm doing rn. I thought i was going to get distracted when i hopped on youtube but instead i got an existential crisis!

You're absolutely right! I realized these past few days that it's better to go out and explore things than spend time at home, like lying on the bed all the time and watching some productive videos that I still won't apply. Going out makes my mind and body stay present; it lessens my overthinking for the future; and the advantage is that I can create new memories and new discoveries. I'm doing my best to minimize my screen time and do something with what I have today. Big or small actions is still an improvement, one step at a time is an achievement. Have a good day! :)

I decided to participate in X-Factor in Denmark this year 😂 I made it through precasting and went to audition to sing infront of the 3 judges... But unfortunatly I didn't went further. Luckily my audition was so original and entertaining because I surprised the judges by making a backflip before singing, so I was shown on TV! 🤯 It has been an amazing journey and adventure, I love just being myself and do what I like in life! 😉👌

I'm going to work on the weekends now because I need some money for my personal spending, and I want money to make a driver's license. I come from a lower-class family, and there's no way I could ask my parents to pay for the driver's license expenses. We have financial problems almost all the time. I see no exit from my situation. W video, awesome to see what an amazing wholesome community you’ve built up here and how far you’ve come! There’s always someone to talk to in the discord server and get help from and it’s always super active. Keep up the honest bangers! Honestly one of the most real KZbinrs I know. The numbers on this vid are crazy!

I've been writing something I could do, sometimes for the experience, for a month, (probably starting just after seeing this video). I won't say it hasn't been life changing, for the better. Thank you for the effort you presumably put into trying to make this video actually help people.

any tips for women? I feel like men have such massive privilege for the freedom that they have to just go out and do stuff whenever they like :( like rn I'm waiting for friends to text me back if they wanna go out tonight. but that's where I find myself all the time, waiting, waiting, waiting... it's definitely too dangerous for a young woman to go partying alone in a bigger city. I'd love to travel the world! but as a woman I am just too scared to do that alone. even to just go out for a walk in nature. it just happened a few weeks ago near the city where I live that some guy attacked a woman that was walking outside. I feel trapped...
@krillansavillan2 ай бұрын
Start training martial arts, BJJ or something. Find travel groups. Make friends that do cool stuff to encourage you until you feel confident enough yourself. Most of all, partying and going out is the number one thing you should quit. That's by far the riskiest activity compared to the other things you want to do. It might not seem like it, but if you get it out of your system sooner than the rest of your friend group, you'll start to see how sad it is for them.

I got here after an NA meeting where the topic happened to be the first pamphlet I ever picked up at an NA meeting - Self Acceptance. That experience allowed me to build a much greater emotional connection to the meeting and engage way more than I did last week, which goes to show that this stuff builds upon itself. Gonna try it out and really get out there, because if something that small can make such a difference now then imagine down the line!

I really like your vibe bro! I wanna start doing more things. Previously I've gone out on my own for walks and stuff and always ended up feeling just frustrated at the end because to get anywhere nice I have to walk through a sea of uk suburban neighborhoods, though I really resonated with what you said when you said that these are just excuses in fancy clothes :D There are nice places near me and I'm gonna start going out more thanks to this!

And on top of these wonderful advices, stay open. Open to meet people, open to engage, open to accept what comes, open to attract others to you, open to attract events to you. Just, remain open and positive. Even during the worst times.

Thanks man 👍 I consider myself a pretty active person, I sail and do sports after school and see my friends pretty often, but the weekend and vacations get me in a slump of KZbin scrolling and nothingness. After seeing your video I went on a bike ride and went back to the bike trial with my brother to explore the woods surrounding it. Never done that before it was very exciting and new. Also we went to our old summer camp grounds and reminisced. Think I’ll do these types of things more often! This summer I’m going to be a sailing instructor 5 days a week which I never thought I would be able to do, but I’m excited to get myself out there doing what I love. Figured it would be better and more stimulating than my boring supermarket job inside. I’ll even have to learn new types of boats for the job so I’m excited!

Good video bro. I think the message you've made in this video is one of the most important ones creators in this space need to start pushing. Just taking a small step out of your comfort zone isn't much, but when compounded every single day it'll really change your life. Also the amount of editing you did on this video was really well balanced. Many creators in this 'self improvement' niche either do too many edits which takes away from the video, or no edits at which his just boring. Your flow and pacing of B-Roll works really well, and the video is easy to watch. Keep being consistent and your channel will go big, good job bro

This is something I've tried to internalized the past few months. Sometimes all you really need is some variety. A variety of experiences goes so far on it's own that it honestly solves more problems than you realize. Every part of our body, including our brain, needs a varied diet. I've always heard "go out your comfort zone" but honestly I never got that since I interpreted it as a phrase you tell people when they don't wanna do whatever your telling them to do (for me that's dancing, performing, cold approaching, etc.). Now that I know what I thrive on, it's made me feel a lot better

next week will be my final week of school before graduating (hopefully if I pass the exams that are yet to come) and I feel like I‘ve wasted so much time by just being inside all day. Once I‘m out of school I will try to experience something new and fun every day. I will start to actually live a life. I‘ll come back to this in a couple of weeks to see how I‘m doing Thank you for being so inspiring

Thank you man. I did some adventures of mine through traveling here and there the last 2 years. And they sometimes worked. But mostly they were too lonely, scary and just hard. But a few weeks ago i decided to stop looking for a perfect place in the world, and try finding adventures in my hometown. So i came home, calmed down.. but i realised i don't know why traveling was motivating (when it worked). But your ideas and your way of explaining made it extra clear 🤯I've been looking for these words for too long man😢
